The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon Really Prefers Pie

We executed another Saturday of buying, selling and trading on The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon.

It's the show that helps you buy, sell and trade pretty much anything.  We do it every Saturday morning from 9am-noon and hopefully everybody has a good time.

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their items.  Without a decent topical question I decided to go with a general food question.  I wanted to know your preference between cake and pie.

RULE #6

Along with the regular rules of the program I always bring you a special rule #6.  It is usually inspired by something that has happened to me over the last week.  This week's rule is a lesson I learned the hard way nearly 25 years ago.

I've been a drummer since 1989 but I wouldn't call myself a musician.  I didn't realize all the real work that goes into learning and mastering an instrument.  And then I found when I was in a band, I didn't enjoy playing music as much as I enjoyed listening to it.  It got me to thinking that maybe there was a rule or two in there.

Rule #6: There's nothing related between listening to music and playing an instrument.
