A waitress in Texas walked 14 miles to work everyday to make ends meet until two customers decided to give her an early Christmas miracle. Adrianna Edwards is a waitress at a Denny's in Galveston, Texas that left an impression on two customers sitting in her section. Edwards told the couple about her arduous, daily 14 mile trek to reach the Denny's diner. The entire trip took her about four hours, causing her to lose 25 pounds from all that exercise the past few weeks. Her story touched the couple and after she brought the woman an extra scoop of ice cream they made up their mind.

The unidentified couple paid for their meal and went to a local car dealership and purchased a 2011 Nissan Sentra for their waitress. Then they headed back to Denny's to surprise Edwards. She told news station KTRK that she was shocked and emotional from the generous gift.

"I still feel like I'm dreaming. Every two hours, I come look out my window and see if there's still a car there. I just hope that one day when I’m financially stable enough, I can help somebody else in need. I can now go to college sooner than anticipated."

The couple who gifted the vehicle to Adrianna Edwards want to remain anonymous but hope that Edwards will pay it forward when she can.
