Amarillo has many churches to choose from in the city.  When it comes to finding your church home, it can be difficult.  It's kind of like a calling, when you walk into the church you are supposed to be in, you just know.  If you find yourself needing a new church home, or looking to start going to church, a new church is coming to Amarillo.

Life.Church has over 38 locations in the United States.  They are located in Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York. Oklahoma, Tennesse and Texas, which has 4 in the Dallas area, Amarillo will be their 5th church in the state

Life.Church offers a casual environment and services last 1 hour and include worship time as well.

From what I've heard Life.Church isn't a typical mega church, they are debt free, and the land they will be building on is funded.

One thing about churches, that drives me crazy is they want you to become members.  In order to do so, you have to attend member classes then agree to a church membership.

When it comes to worshiping God, I want to go to church and worship, get involved, and take part.  I don't want to have to take membership classes to be considered a part of a chuch, and it seems Life.Church doesn't require membership of those who want to be a part of the church.

The church will be opening in Amarillo in 2022.  If you'd like to check it out and see if it might be the new church home for you, you can catch their services online.

Say You're From Amarillo Without Saying You're From Amarillo

Amarillo is a pretty quirky place. We've got the Big Texan, the weird signs, and (obviously) the famed Cadillac Ranch. But more than that, there's a distinct culture of close-knit community, eccentrics, a thriving arts scene, and much more.

The point is, living in Amarillo is a unique experience. Because of that, it's really pretty easy to tell who's a native or a long-time resident. And I can prove it.

Here's a couple of ways you can say you're from Amarillo.....without saying you're from Amarillo.
