I love having new places to eat. It's even more exciting when they move in close to my work in Downtown Amarillo. Even better when it is in my building. So there is a close choice for me to eat at and a new place totally in Downtown Amarillo.

The place is called Los PicucHos and it moved into the former location of Delvin's in the basement of Happy State Bank. Delvin's moved out at the beginning of covid. So a new restaurant was needed in that area. The hunt was on. It needed to be a place that would serve both breakfast and lunch.

The announcement was made to the employees in the building on Thursday and they officially opened up for business on Friday. Los PicucHos (pronounced Pik-Cuyos) is ready to serve authentic Mexican food.

Get your taste buds ready for fresh & authentic Mexican food. No passport required!

Enjoy a variety of options from their full breakfast and lunch menus.

Open Monday – Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Located on the basement floor of the downtown Happy State Bank branch.

This is good news for anyone who works in Downtown Amarillo or in the vicinity that is looking for a new place to eat when they are in the area. The fact that they will serve breakfast burritos and tacos and enchiladas is exciting. You can never have too many Taco Tuesdays any day of the week.
