Oh, Amarillo sometimes you try to sneak one over on me. Finding new places to eat in Amarillo brings me such joy. Really it does. I really try to find out about places before they open. Sometimes that just doesn't happen. Sometimes you find a way to surprise me. Well played.
Did you know that COPS is still on TV? That is the conversation we had earlier today. I really thought it ended a long time ago. Apparently not. I remember watching it back in the nineties.
I think I get giddy every time I find a hint of a new place coming to Amarillo. Especially when that new place is a restaurant. It also doesn't hurt when it is in my neighborhood. I am thinking this is going to be a good day.
Amarillo is known for having some great restaurants. It really doesn't even matter what you are in the mood for we have a place to stop and satisfy that craving. If you are hungry we have the best places to go.
Oh, how I miss the nineties. Just like everything else I didn't know those were some of those good ol' days we always talk about. So many great things I miss about those days.
Going on a treasure hunt can be a lot of fun. You never know what you are going to find. Spending a day out thrift shopping can be the same thing. Walking into a store and walking out with a find, is such a great feeling.
When we were growing up we just could not wait to be adults, right? We could stay up as long as we wanted. We could do whatever we wanted. Life would be so much easier. Or so we thought.
Has parenting gotten even more difficult over the years? I think it has and there are some huge reasons why. The main one is technology. I had my one and only child towards the end of the nineties. We got our information from friends, family, and books. We read a lot to find out what we needed to know.
