A Slice of Happiness: Popular Pizza Chain to Set Up Shop Inside Amarillo Walmart

Amarillo has many choices for pizza, but when you can pick up a pizza where you are doing some shopping, then it's a win/win.  That's what makes this idea so great. You will be able to get some of your favorite pizza at your favorite place to shop.

Mr. Gatti's Pizza is Moving into Walmart in Amarillo

Amarillo is lucky because we have had a Mr. Gatti's for decades.  It's a place to go, have fun, play games, and eat a ton of pizza, salad, pasta, and dessert from their buffet.

Mr. Gatti's Pizza announced last year that they were opening locations in Walmarts across Texas and Oklahoma.  They had a goal to open 12 stores before Thanksgiving and had 23 under construction.  They are looking to open 92 Mr. Gattis locations inside Walmart over 18 months.

Get ready because it looks like Mr. Gatti's is moving into the Tascosa Road Walmart (5730 W. Amarillo Blvd) in Amarillo.  According to the licensing department, the project should be complete by June. This means that you'll be able to pick up a Mr. Gatti's Pizza while you shop.

What Will Mr. Gatti's Look Like Inside a Walmart?

The Walmart Mr. Gattis design will be streamlined with counter service and seating.  It will include a full menu with pizza, wings, salads, and sandwiches.  You can also order on Mr. Gatti's app while you're shopping and pick it up before you walk out the door. They also offer delivery services to homes in the area. Several have opened in Walmarts across Texas, this is the one in Mexia.

It doesn't look like the Walmart Mr. Gatti's will include all the fun and games that our large Mr. Gatti's does, but luckily if you're just looking to have fun and play games, you can plan an outing to the one on Western.  If you're just craving Mr. Gatti's Pizza and live near the Walmart on Tascosa Road, then you can grab it and go.
