The DPS stopped a 2009 Toyota Camry late Thursday night.

The Texas Department of Public Safety reports a Trooper stopped the Camry around 11pm Thursday night on I-40 near Conway.  43-year-old Jacob Kent was the driver and only occupant.

During the stop the DPS called in a K-9 Unit to do a check on the vehicle.  The K-9 alerted and the vehicle was searched.  During the search inside the vehicle the trooper found five large packaged of marijuana wrapped in cellophane inside the trunk.

Kent was charged with Felony Possession of Marijuana and booked into the Carson County Jail.  The DPS says the marijuana is worth around $730,000.  It was allegedly being transported from Las Vegas to Richmond, Va.
