Will the Texas Legislature Look to Marijuana as a Revenue Stream?

Scott Braddock, Editor of QuorumReport.com, joined The Chad Hasty Show on Monday to discuss a wide range of topics making headlines in the state.

Coronavirus numbers are on the increase in Texas, but as Braddock discussed today in the interview, Governor Greg Abbott isn't too concerned with the increase due to the amount of hospital beds that are open in the state.

Braddock also talked about the idea of legalized marijuana in Texas as a possible revenue stream. He spoke about the support medical marijuana enjoys among Republican voters. When it comes to recreational use, though, support plummets among Republican primary voters. Still, Braddock believes it will be an issue we hear a lot about during the next legislative session.
