Even away from home, the West Texas A&M basketball teams continue to rack up the wins this season.

The #3 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M led by as many as 11 in the first half but a young Western Washington team gave WT all they could handle before the Lady Buffs pulled away for a 78-62 victory on Tuesday night to conclude the Viking Holiday Hoops Classic in Bellingham, Washington.

Lexy Hightower led the way with 21 points while Madison Parker added 17 points as the Lady Buffs improved to 11-0 on the season.

Behind a stellar shooting performance, the No. 12 West Texas A&M men’s basketball team won the Rollins Las Vegas Classic with an 88-60 victory over Rollins Tuesday afternoon.  The Buffs scored 52 points in the first half and held the Tars to just 36.7 percent shooting for the game.

Jordan Evans led the Buffs with 21 points as WT moved to 11-1 on the season.
