WT Teams Rack up Wins

It was a great weekend for teams from West Texas A&M. 

The football team won at Western New Mexico on Saturday 27—17, to move to 1-1 in the Lone Star Conference. It wasn't easy but the Buffs picked up a much-needed win on the road after losing their conference opener to Tarleton State last weekend.

The Lady Buff volleyball team won two LSC matches, defeating UT-Permian Basin on Friday and Western New Mexico on Saturday. WT is now 9-6 on the season and 4-3 in conference play.

In soccer, the 25^th ranked WT women’s team beat TWU on Friday before downing Texas A&M Commerce on Sunday 3-0. The Lady Buffs improve to 7-1 on the season and 2-0 in the LSC.

And the WT men’s soccer team beat Rogers State 4-0 in Heartland Conference action on Saturday. The Bootin’ Buffs are 6-1-1 on the season and 3-1-1 in conference.
