Say Hello To Waggoner Ranch

Waggoner Ranch is so huge, that at one point is was considered the largest ranch under one fence in the U.S. It's a short drive south from Vernon, and has over half-a-million acres to it.

Their website has it rounded out to a clean 560,000 acres. In case you didn't know...that's a lot.

What Do You Do With 560,000 Acres?

Whatever you want.

That means oil. That means cattle. That also means horses, and of course it means the farm.

Their website points out that they're looking to do more oil exploration on the ranch. Only a small fraction of it all has been touched.

They raise quarter horses. They have the farm that produces crops for use on the ranch, and for sale.

There's also a whole heck of a lot of cattle.

How Could It Possibly Be Better?

So you've already got a pretty nice sized chunk of land in your possession that is producing crops, cattle, and oil. How could it get better?

Lakes.

To be more specific, Lake Kemp. True story.

There's actually a lot of water on the Waggoner Ranch. Not surprising considering its size.

You can find out more by following this link to the Waggoner Ranch website. There's actually a lot happening on Waggoner Ranch for the public. Their website even mentions working on opportunities for quail, wild hog, and deer hunting.
