We now have 29 days to go until the 2020 Presidential Election and if you live in Lubbock, or anywhere in Texas and want to vote in the upcoming election. You have to register by the end of the day today.

On the ballot in November you will find more than the race between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden. There will be a U.S. Senate race for voters to decide along with other state and local elections for voters to cast a vote in.

Voters this year in Texas will not be able to vote straight party. That means in order to vote in election, you must go through the entire ballot.

You can check whether or not you are registered to vote on the Texas Secretary of State's website.

If you are not registered, you can visit VoteLubbock.org to get more information on how to register. This includes printing out a voter registration form and either mailing the form and taking the form to the Lubbock County Elections Office.

Remember, if you aren't registered to vote you must mail in your form or drop it off by the end of the day today.

Early voting for the November 3rd election begins next Tuesday, October 13 in Texas. In order to vote, not only do you have to be registered, but you must also have a proper form of ID. You can get that information on Vote Lubbock's website as well.
