This is something that is cool for Amarillo. If you are a mom-to-be you know how hard it is to wait those nine months to see what your baby is going to look like. Sometimes it's more of a peace of mind that you need to know.

When my daughter found out at six months that she was pregnant. The news came as a surprise to her, to me, and to her doctors. She had some procedures done that she was warned could hurt a baby if she may be pregnant. So finding out after many false-negative tests that she was in fact pregnant. Oh, and it took an ultrasound to ever find this miracle baby. My daughter was worried.

This is where the opportunity to get a 3D or 4D ultrasound played a big role in her not freaking out. This was not offered in Amarillo when my daughter was pregnant. We couldn't find a place here. She ended up having one done in Arlington.

The chance to see that little baby girl was in fact healthy was a huge relief. A regular 2D ultrasound only shows so much.

The 3D was a total game-changer. Look at those lips.

Amarillo has just earlier this month opened up a place where new moms can schedule this same peace of mind. You have to pay out of pocket. Insurance is not accepted but they have several affordable packages you can choose from.

4D Moments is the name of the place. They had offices in Odessa, Midland, Lubbock and finally Amarillo. You can check out their website and find pricing HERE.

I highly recommend any soon-to-be mom to check this out. It really gave us the peace of mind to know that Laila was going to be just fine.
