Testy College Basketball Game Ends With Invisible Handshake
You have to see this non-existent handshake to believe it.
Siena topped Rider, 78-68, when the teams met Tuesday night, but it's the chippy play and postgame antics that left people talking.
With about two minutes left in the game, things got pretty heated between both teams -- so heated, in fact, that Saints coach Jimmy Patsos got into with the Broncs' head coach, Kevin Bagget. Two players were tossed in the melee and both coaches were hit with technical fouls.
Bagget cleared his whole Rider team off the floor when the game ended, so Patsos elected to get creative by pretending to shake hands with everyone on Siena. Yeah, he walked through the line and doled out imaginary handshakes.
This is the second odd incident in college basketball in under a week. Last week, Colorado State's Emmanuel Omogbo and New Mexico coach Terrence Rencher got into an argument after the Rams dropped the Lobos (note the NSFW language).
