The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon Loves Pets

Every Saturday morning on News Talk 940 we bring buyers and sellers together.

It's called The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon.  We open up the phone lines to people like you to list for sale the belongings they no longer need but still have value.  It airs 9-Noon.

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their items.  Sometimes the question is topical and others it is right out of left field.  This week we had something of a pets theme on the show and that dictated our question for the week.

Do you have a pet?

No 9

Yes 21

Dogs 13, Cats 3, with one vote each for horse, wolf, rock, rattlesnake, and sugar glider.

Obviously the show is listened to by many pet enthusiasts.

RULE #6

We bring you the five regular rules of the program at the beginning of each hour.  Along with those regular rules, I present you a special rule #6 that changes every week.

It is sometimes poor man's observational humor or inspired by a thought I had over the previous week.

This week it was inspired by a note I got on my apartment door at the Fortress of Solitude in the Sleepy Hollow Penal Facility.  Someone reported my dog for barking too much and the office said I didn't declare a pet on my lease.  There's a big problem with that.  I don't have a dog, haven't had a dog, and don't want a dog.  It inspired this week's rule.

Rule #6: When reporting your neighbors ensure you have the correct address/apartment number.
