The year was 2019. Cassidy's Polo Club was the location.

And they were closing. This was significant in the city of Amarillo. Why?

Well you see, they were a topless club...and those were no longer allowed to open in the city. If that's what you were when the law passed, you were grandfathered in and got to remain open. However, if you closed, you had up to six months to re-open and maintain your classification.

Guess what? Cassidy's didn't re-open within that six month period. They had some things they had to clean up, and they apparently decided not to.

Fast forward to 2022. People start noticing something going on at the old Cassidy's building.

Now the intrigue is there, and it started spurring conversation as to what it could be.

One user seemed to have some pretty good intel there. According to his concrete guy who did some work there, it's going to be another bikini club in the city. I mean, I'm sure there are plenty of people that would be perfectly fine with that.

This wasn't the only person to say bikini club

Oh but wait, what's this about topless again? You can see the last comment mentioning the ordinance we discussed earlier with the six month thing. That didn't stop this from happening.

Check the last comment. Could they possibly still come back as a topless club? That would definitely stir up some controversy.

Guess we have to wait and see at this point, but what we DO know is something is going on there. It'll be interesting to see what comes of it.
