Area Road Construction This Week

With the unseasonable weather their is an unusual amount of road work going on across the area.

Here are areas to avoid or to plan for delays.

On I-40 the westbound left lane will be closed from FM 1912 to Pullman Road for crack sealing.

The left lane on I-27 north and south will be closed around 26th Avenue for landscaping.

On I-27 from Hollywood Road to Rockwell road expect closures in both directions for cable barrier repairs.

On Tuesday, January 24th the ramp from I-40 westbound to I-27 southbound will be closed at the interchange from 8:30am to Noon to set a temporary barrier.  This is in addition to the ongoing closure of the I-27 southbound frontage road.

Beginning Friday January 27th, Loop 335 will be closed at I-40.   There will be detours in the area.

The left lane of westbound i-40 from FM 1912 to Spur 228 for crack sealing.

Expect various lane closures in the following areas for concrete repairs.  Eastbound I-40 frontage road and Whitaker Road, eastbound I-40 frontage road and Lakeside Drive.  Northbound Loop 335 and I-40 at Soncy.
