2019 already has its surprises

Over the weekend another earthquake hit the Texas Panhandle. Reports determine that the earthquake was spread across a three-mile radius.

According to reports from the U.S. Geological Survey, Wheeler, Texas was hit with a 4.0 magnum earthquake on Sunday the 13th right at 3:00 p.m.

As more information becomes available we will be sure to update you when we get word.

The Panhandle is no stranger to earthquakes as of late. You probably remember back on October 20th of 2018 there was a 4.0 earthquake that hit Potter country in Amarillo.

It came around 8:00 a.m. but even if you were sleeping the whole town was faithful to fill everyone in. For over a week it seemed like that was the main topic for small talk in the 806. Personally, I thought it was just my upstairs neighbors.
