Amarillo College Opened The Career Services Center Today

Amarillo College is getting serious about making sure their students graduate.  To that end they've opened a new Career and Employment Services Center.

Amarillo College is growing with our community.  They've got a new campus in Hereford that will begin construction soon.  And they've cut the ribbon on their new Career and Employment Services Center.

The center is on the first floor of the Lyn Library on the Washington Street campus.  The goal of the center is to help students graduate and to counsel them in the direction of finding a career that will supply a living wage.

The center was made possible by a grant from The Gates Foundation which was administered through the Amarillo Area Foundation.

Stop by today by 4pm to take a tour during the center's open house.
