WT Student Arrested For Criminal Mischief And Evading Arrest
It was not a quiet Monday on the campus of West Texas A&M.
University police were able to obtain an arrest warrant for a January crime involving the breaking of a car window on campus. Based on a complaint the warrant was issued for Grant Geiser, 20. During the investigation it was discovered additional felony warrants for the suspect from Dallas County and Lubbock County.
Officers initiated contact near the Jack B. Kelley Student Center. Geiser fled from the area on foot and was seen near Jarrett Hall. During a room to room search of the dorm the Chief of Police received a call from the attorney representing Geiser to arrange the surrender of the suspect. He was located in a nearby parking lot and taken into custody.
He's being held on a $10,000 bond.
