What It Will Cost To Park In The Downtown Parking Garage

Last night the Amarillo City Council approved of the downtown parking garage ordinance.

The garage is expected to be completed by June. The city is working with the Local Government Corporation on management of the garage.

The ordinance set rates at $2 an hour for the first two hours, then $2 per two hour segment with a maximum of $7.

It hasn't been determined what it will cost for special event parking.
