In these strange times around Amarillo where nothing but crazy, concerning, and outright bad things seem to be happening all the time, it can be hard to find positivity in this town. It can bring us down, feeling unhappy, hopeless, or just outright lost drifting around day-to-da, waiting for a sprinkle of sunshine to enter our lives.

But thankfully for those of us driving through and around Amarillo, that little sprinkle of sunshine that we all might need is just around the corner.

No, the Amarillo construction is not finally over (although that news would likely bring a smile to all of our faces), but I think that this will close in bringing smiles to the faces of Amarillo drivers.

Yep, she's back.

In case any of you don't know who this wonderful lady is allow me to introduce you.

If you've driven around Amarillo, chances are you've seen this lady at some point. There have been sightings of her around I-40, Georgia, 34th, and so many other major streets around Amarillo in the past.

What does she do?

Well to put it simply, she lingers around at major streets and intersections around Amarillo holding a sign with a positive message reading "You're Awesome"

Why she does do this? We don't really know, but I can say that this woman's simple, but awesome message has definitely has made my day a little bit better reading that reminder. And hopefully, it's done the same for the thousands of drivers who have likely seen her message.

So to whoever you are holding up this sign for Amarillo we would like to let you know from the bottom of our hearts that you are truly awesome.
