We are really going to feel it this summer. Have already hit the one hundred degree mark several times and it's still June. So we are going to want ways to cool off. We need to stay hydrated.

We will probably need lots and lots of ice cream. I mean this is a must.

Keeping hydrated is important. We know we need a lot of water everywhere we go. It just seems like we need something more. I am a big fan of limeades. Oooh, cherry limeades specifically.

Who doesn't love a refreshing drink like this? With limeade, lemon-lime soda, and cherry juice. You have to make sure that your cherry limeade has a couple of fresh cherries that you will find mixed it.

How refreshing does that sound? So being on a hunt for the best places to get a limeade has left me a few places to choose from.

Sonic

Sonic was the first place I thought of when it came to cherry limeades. I mean we have several of them in Amarillo. Plus you sure can't complain about the ice that they serve. It is the best. I have the Sonic App so you can get Happy Hour prices all day long if you order on the app. Then they will have it ready for you when you drive up. Sonic is there to cool you off all summer.

Huds

Ok, Huds I see you trying to be my go-to limeade place. You do have great limeades. I will give you that. They also have two locations here in Amarillo. One is located on Bell Street and one on Coulter near the Medical District. Huds you will be on my list this summer too.

Stars

I sometimes forget about Stars but they do have great limeades too. They do have Happy Hour prices too. They just need more than one location here in Amarillo. You can find them at 2216 SE 27th. That used to be close to where I lived at one point so that was a frequent stop of mine. I need to add them back in and grab a cool drink.
