Texans Open Training Camp with Healthy DeShaun Watson
Just over eight months after his season-ending knee surgery, Deshaun Watson is ready to pick up his NFL story where it left off after just seven games.
The Texans starting quarterback, who set multiple rookie passing and touchdown records in just six starts, spent his offseason rehabbing his way back from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
This offseason, Watson participated in 7-on-7 drills in during the team's OTA practices. He made significant strides in his rehab, even shedding his knee brace by the end of veteran minicamp in June.
The Texans will have their first workout of training camp today in West Virginia.
Heading into the first practice, the team placed four players on the Physically Unable to Perform list.

CB Jermaine Kelly, Jr.

TE Jevoni Robinson
In addition, the Texans have placed S Andre Hal on the Non-Football Illness list.
