It's a (not-so) brazen prediction.

A Tennessee Titans fan recently got a tattoo by making a bold proclamation about the state of next year's team:

So, this is how low expectations have gotten in Music City. A team that hasn't won a postseason game in well over a decade has gotten fans (at least one, anyway) giddy over the thought of winning a division title. And not just any division. We're talking about the ugly AFC South (home of the Jaguars, Colts and Texans -- none of which are bound to scare the Patriots in their quest to remain the NFL's dominant franchise).

A tattoo for a division championship is a little much, isn't it? A Super Bowl tattoo makes sense, but this tat seems like an excessive response for winning a division. Winning a division isn't even that much of an accomplishment, either. There are only four teams, so the Titans go into the season with a 25% chance of becoming AFC South champions. And if this is the size of the tattoo for winning the division, just imagine how immense the ink will be should the Titans win a playoff game or -- gulp! -- the Super Bowl?

Bold tattoos also have a way of backfiring, too. Just ask this overly-confident Indians fan and Cowboys fan who was a little too eager to count his chickens before they hatched.
