Be prepared for some major traffic headaches in Amarillo this week

Each week, the Texas Department of Transportation releases their "Know Before You Go" rundown of area roadwork and construction projects.

There's a fairly lengthy list of areas you can expect delays due to road work this week.

If you travel on Western and use the intersection at 45th and Western, you might want to find an alternate route, because the City of Amarillo continues work on the water main and traffic will be very slow in the area.
