Are you willing to risk an accident for some chicken?

We're almost back to fully operational on our roadways! Question is, what project will the conjure up next?

This has been a crazy ride. Ever since the pandemic first hit and places have had to close we have been hit with staffing shortages. Many restaurants have been hit. Many are trying their darnedest to get employees in to work so that they can all operate on a normal basis.

There's still things you can blame on 2020.

One of the nice things about going to bigger cities is the choices you can find. So many places to shop. So many places to eat. Plenty of places to drink. Amarillo is definitely moving on up.

It's been a long few months and nobody knows it more that people who frequent the Chick-fil-A on Coulter. It's been a few months since they announced their closing for a remodel. It's something that they knew was the perfect time for it o happen.

Has the City has already started work on some of the projects for this year's Summer Street Maintenance Program?

Nothing is worse than waking up on the wrong side of the bed. That just starts your day off in the worst way possible. Those are the mornings that drivers on I40 seem to cut you off. You can't handle it. You just want to get to your job Downtown as soon and as with as little drama as possible.

Construction projects around town can be annoying at best, or totally destroy any chances you have of getting anywhere on-time at worst.

It was about this time last year when the whole chicken sandwich war started. I think competition is good. The more good restaurants we get of any kind just gives us more choices and ups the battle for the best.
