I love this time of year, it is the spooky season and I love how people come together including vampires to help a great cause.

A new group of donors just opened up for Coffee Memorial Blood Center, and you might be that new donor.

You get gifts just for coming out and donating some blood.

To say that there is a dire need for blood donations is a massive understatement.

It seems like there are two things we are always in need of in the panhandle. We could "always use the moisture," and we need people who will donate blood.

Donating blood should make you feel good, but you can feel even better!

Have you had Covid before? Do you have the antibodies? Sometimes you just don't know. I felt sick at one point. It wasn't bad enough to go to the doctors. Did I have Covid? Maybe.

Have you ever really felt passionate about a non-profit here in our area? Maybe you donate when you can. Maybe you don't have the money but would really like to help. Either way today is the day to help out so much here in the Amarillo area.

If you know someone in college or someone heading that way today could be their day. Heck, maybe it's you. Why don't you do something to help with the costs associated with higher learning. How does $2,000 sound?
