Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show's evening edition, Texas District 67 Representative Jeff Leach (R-Plano) joined the program to talk about priorities in the 87th Texas Legislature.

Leach and Hasty discussed the need for a conversation among leaders and lawmakers about the use of emergency powers by the governor, as well as Texas becoming a sanctuary state for the Second Amendment, the ban on taxpayer-funded lobbying, and much more.

Leach said,

I think you're going to see a ton of really important substantive conservative priorities move this session. Look, the vast majority or your listeners, the vast majority of the people of Texas and the citizens all across this country, they look at Washington, Chad, and they see a broken system, a divided system. They can't even talk together, they can't meet together, they can't break bread together, they can't reason.. In Austin we're going to come together, we're going to have our deliberations, we're going to have some debates, but we're going to get our work done. And them, importantly we're going to come and we're going to work and live under the laws that we create.
