I'm looking to eat healthier and lose a few pounds here in 2021.  Nothing crazy.  It seems like a never ending battle to find meals. The part that is the toughest for me is lunchtime. I don't have a lot of time. I don't want to spend a lot of money. I want a good meal though. I want something filling too.

This is where the meal "Freshly" has really stepped up to help me in this process. It is a company that sends fresh made meals to you. All you have to do is microwave them for about 3 minutes. They are wonderful with just enough food to fill you up. The variety is wonderful too. I have tried other frozen meals when I head to do my grocery shopping. Sometimes I grab some of those too but I have always gone back to grab a few weeks from Freshly too. They really do make my lunchtime a little easier.

This past week I got to eat the following:
  • Chicken Livorna
  • Steak Peppercorn
  • Cod Cakes
  • Creamy Cashew-Coconut Veggies
  • Beef & Veggie Meatballs
  • Creamy Red Beet & Chicken Risotto

There are about 30 different meals to choose from each week. They change them up quite frequently so you have a great selection. You can order every week...or skip however many you want. It's perfect because the cost is pretty decent. You can choose from 4, 6, 9, or 12 meals a week. They will cost you about $9.99 per meal. So about the same as driving through and picking up lunch but you know these are better for you. So if you are looking for more options here in Amarillo, Freshly can be something you may want to try. I was excited to get a mailer delivered to my home that is how I found out about this.

I have been ordering meals on and off for over three years. It's kind a neat way to make sure I have lunches ready.

The best part is that they are healthy. You can choose meals that are low calorie, low carb, high protein, low fat and even low sodium. This is one of the most convenient yet yummy lunches I have been able to find. They will be delivered to your house in great iced packaging......you can recycle a lot of the materials if you want. Then just throw them in fridge until you are ready. If you want to freeze them so they last longer you can do that too.
