Amarillo Halloween Events 2026: Trunk or Treats, Carnivals and Fall Festivals

There is nothing more fun than collecting as much Halloween candy as possible when you are a kid. The great thing about Amarillo is the abundance of activities and events where kids can collect all the candy.

Halloween Is a Whole Month in Amarillo

When October rolls around, so do all the fun events surrounding Halloween and fall. It's a time for the kids to get dressed up in their costumes and have some fun. It's no longer just one night of dressing up; it's a whole month.

Carnivals, Trunk or Treats, and Fall Festivals

Many organizations and businesses all across the area plan fun events for the entire family. These events allow the kids to put on the costumes they spent so much time picking out, grab their candy bucket or bag, and head out to play games and collect candy.

Some organizations put on huge carnivals with games, food, candy, and silent auctions. Other organizations line decorated cars up in their parking lots and let kids trunk-or-treat. Some are all about fall and festivals, while others focus on Halloween. Either way, here's a list of events to enjoy in October.

Whether you love fall festivals or full-on Halloween events, this season has no shortage of fun.
