Pampa Musician Invited to American Idol Audition at CMA Fest

The Texas Panhandle is a great area and has seen many accomplishments from its residents over the decades. Our area has seen so many of its residents succeed in different areas, and soon we may see another reach their claim to fame.

Pampa Resident Receives an Invite to Audition for American Idol

Arieon Keller is a Pampa native and a local musician. She has been performing across the Texas Panhandle and has served as a worship leader.

Singing has been my life for as long as I known. Sure I have other talents like riding motorcycles, baking, welding, and painting but I’ve never pursued anything else other then music.

Keller has performed at many places in the area, including Pescarez, Big Jim's Pizza Co., and the Topple Turtle Brewing Company.  After years of performing, Keller's dream may be coming true.

Keller recently posted on her Facebook page that she has been invited to audition for the American Idol live auditions.

She will audition in Nashville, Tennessee, during CMA Fest.

Keller is one step closer to that golden ticket and going to Hollywood.  She is one step closer to standing in front of Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie. She is one step closer to achieving the ultimate dream.

What Song Will Arieon Keller Sing for Her Audition?

She tells us she hasn't decided yet, but she's weighing her options.  She's trying to decide between the "Goodness of God," "So Will I" by Hillsong Worship, "Hallelujah Even Here" by Lydia Lair, or she might even go with one of her original songs, "The Words of God".

My biggest inspirations in life as in my music is God and my grandma when I’m writing music I always ask him for guidance.

How to Support Arieon Keller on Her American Idol Journey

On June 6 at 4 pm, we all need to come together and cheer on Aerion Keller, whether through prayer, good vibes, or just sending a hug through the universe. It would be an amazing thing to see another Texas Panhandle resident make it through to the main American Idol stage.

life is so short take those small chances get on that stage and sing your heart out. This is all I’ve ever wanted to do whether I became famous or not. Life is too small to not take those risk.

Our region is no stranger to American Idol.  Amarillo native Lacey Brown made it to the show's Top 12 in 2010, and Hereford's Donavan Diaz appeared during the audition process in 2022.
