
Ms. Piggy’s Custom Bake Shoppe Celebrates 40 Years in Amarillo
Amarillo is full of local businesses, and some of those businesses are blessed to have been here for decades. Those are the businesses we love and love to celebrate. This sweet business is celebrating 40 years in Amarillo, and if you've never tried them, now's the time.
Ms. Piggy's Custom Bake Shoppe is celebrating its 40th anniversary! This amazing bakery has been serving up the best baked goods in Amarillo for four decades. They have some of the best cookies ever, and if you have never tried a Ms. Piggy's cookie, run, don't walk, to their location and grab a dozen.

From a Home Kitchen to Puckett Plaza
Jean Hoving started Ms. Piggy's in 1986 from her home. Soon after, they moved to their location in Puckett Plaza. Linda Herrera joined the Ms. Piggy's team in the business's eighth year.
A New Home at 6030 SW 33rd
Around 2000, Ms. Piggy's moved to their current location at 6030 SW 33rd. They are across the street from Hobby Lobby, between Danvers and Bell.

Linda Takes the Reins
In 2014, Jean Hoving retired, and Linda took over Ms. Piggy's, keeping the tradition alive. On August 8, they are celebrating 40 years in Amarillo.
Ms. Piggy's has been serving up some of the best baked goods in the Yellow City and will continue to tempt your sweet tooth for decades to come. If you need a cake for an occasion, give Ms. Piggy's a call.
