Kevin Fowler was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas.  His dad imparted a a love of country music and the teenage years brought a love for rock.  After graduating, Fowler moved to Los Angeles and attended the Guitar Institute of Technology where he learned to play the guitar and started writing songs.  Fowler then left LA and moved back to Texas landing in Austin.   After landing in Austin, he played guitar for the rock band Dangerous Toys, then formed the band Thunderfoot.

Luckily for Texas Country, Kevin left the rock world and started focusing on Texas Country music.

Fowler independently released his first Texas Country album in the early 2000s busting into the scene.

You can rest assured the crowd will be singing loud with this one!

Fowler has released 11 solo albums and achieved 18 #1 songs on the Texas music charts.

Coming on August 23rd Kevin Fowler will be releasing his Bar Stool Stories Album

Fowler will return to the area where he grew up on Saturday, June 22nd.  He'll be playing Canyon's newest and loudest venue, The Lumberyard.  Rest assured Fowler will play all your favorites and some of his new stuff.

This Cowboy Hat house was another vision of artist and builder Dan Phillips, after building a giant Cowboy Boot hat he built the Cowboy Hat to go along with the boot. This house is currently under contract and is a private home.
