It is finally time for Lubbock's all-inclusive, first-of-its-kind park to open and we have a look inside at the bottom of the article!

Milestones Development & Play Park is a place where every child is special and can play safely regardless of their ability level. Since it’s indoors, it also provides kids a place no matter the weather outside.

Alstrom Angels, Cassie Johnston, and Jennifer Rondeau Welsh helped make this park a reality.

The park will look like a traditional park, it will just be inside. The design is made to feel like an outdoor park but it will be inside to avoid any type of weather Lubbock gets.

All the staff will be trained to be able to handle all kiddos, even the special ones at the park to make it safe for everyone.

The park will have three large play structures. The largest play structure is a jungle safari, it is 2,000 sq ft and two and a half levels. It is themed to look like a child is walking on a safari. It will have creatures, slides, chutes and a swinging bridge. The slides will look like waterfalls. This is open to all ages.

The second largest structure is the Dream Home at 1,700 sq ft. It has a grand staircase, slides going in and out of the living room, and a dream kitchen. This is open to all ages.

The smallest structure is for the little kids. It is Candy Land themed and 640 sq ft. Kids only five and under can go on the other two but the Candy Lane structure is only for children five years and under. It will have lollipops and chocolate slides.

They will also have a 20-feet-long rock wall. An infant patch for the sitters, crawlers and kids learning to walk. It will have mats, foam wedges, tubes, a small obstacle course, toys and more.

The rest of the park is a big open space where kids can run and jump. They will have floor scooters, jump ropes, balls and so much more to try and get kids imagination going.

They will have classes coming this spring as well.

They are having their official opening on December 1st, 2023.

Since it is indoors there will be certain hours they will be open and an admission fee. Play Passes for a single day or membership are available to purchase and use year-round. Admission will be $13 for a one-time entry day pass and $39 for a Monthly Membership. You can buy these passes and memberships online to make it easier when you get there to skip the line.

Milestones will be open all seven days, Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

You can see more about the park on their website. It is located at 6301 Marsha Sharp Fwy, Lubbock, TX.
