Is It True That Amarillo’s Aspen Creek Grill is Closing?

Rumors can be like wildfire on the internet, spreading faster than a saucy steak sizzles on the grill. And this latest internet sensation on Reddit has got Amarillo steak lovers shaking in their boots.

Word on the virtual street was that our beloved Aspen Creek Grill was about to close its doors forever. Naturally, being the curious carnivore that I am, I immediately took to finding out whether yet another of Amarillo's beloved restaurants was about to close.

And after doing some digging I can assure you that our favorite restaurant is here to stay.

They are as alive as ever and not planning to disappear into the sauce anytime soon. We reached out to them and spoke to an employee at Aspen Creek who laughed at the online buzz and confirmed that Aspen Creek is not shutting down.

They did mention, however, that this rumor may have come as confusion from their change in restaurant hours though.

They recently changed their former 11 AM to 10 PM schedule all week long which may have confused some. The schedule is now Monday through Thursday, from 3 PM to 10 PM, Fridays, and Saturdays, from 11 AM to 11 PM, and Sundays from 11 AM to1 0 PM.

So, dear fellow Amarillan, put your worries to rest. Aspen Creek is here, it's open, and it's ready to serve up steaks with a side of dispelled internet rumors on the house.
