
High Speed Police Chase On I-40 Ends In Wreck, Arrest
A high speed police chase on Sunday ends with a wreck and an arrest.
A 35-year old man is in the Oldham County jail after attempting to evade police trying to stop him for a traffic violation.
It was a bad situation made much worse by the chase. Joey Climer was being pulled over for running a stop sign or signal in Vega. When police tried to pull him over, he took off like a rabbit.
The chase reached speeds of 110-mph on I-40, with the suspect driving towards Amarillo.
The chase lasted 16 minutes and ended when Climer crashed into a gas station at I-40 and Coulter.
He was charged with evading arrest with a motor vehicle.
