High Panhandle Winds Spark Fires in Stinnett

The brush fire near CR-K and CR- 4 north of Stinnett has been contained, however, another substantial fire has sparked just northeast of Stinnett, according to the Hutchinson County Operations of Emergency Management, crews are on sight at new fire.

High winds are expected for the rest of the day, which could influence wildfire risk. Be incredibly cautious when disposing cigarettes and not to pull over in dry grassy areas, as you cars exhaust pipes can spark fire.
