Amarillo's local International House of Pancakes is offering free pancakes Tuesday, March 12th for a wonderful cause.

IHOP will celebrate National Pancake Day by offering guests a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes. With every short stack of pancakes served, diners will be invited to make a donation to Shriners Hospitals for Children.

We called down to our local IHOP restaurants just to make sure this was legit and she said "Yes, and you can make a donation to Shriners Children's Hospitals.

March 12th falls on a Tuesday this year and from 7 AM to 7 PM, participating IHOPs will serve up one free short stack of buttermilk pancakes, per person.

The breakfast chain is encouraging customers to donate to three charities who help children battling illness: Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Shriners Hospitals for Children and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

So head out to IHOP this coming Tuesday for a delicious stack of pancakes! Oh, and the syrup is free too!
