Eating Baked Potato Skins, Taking Phone Calls, And Apply Tradio Only To The Affected Area
Two great hours of The Erwin Pawn Tradio Show last Saturday. That is a totally positive statement until you realize the show is three hours long. With Homer's, Taking Back The Wall and finding a baked potato folks just didn't have time for calling in.
It's our very own homegrown version of the venerable Tradio and it happens Saturday mornings 9-Noon. I am your host for a host of buying, selling, trading, borrowing, and in some instances; stealing. You call in, I put you on the air, you speak of your stuff, I help you sell it.
There were a lot of questions last Saturday. When would Food Network be at Homer's? How many bologna sandwiches were served to volunteer graffiti removers? And The Big Question?
The answers would be, in order; not long, not any, potato.
THE BIG QUESTION
We ask every caller a poll question when they call in to do whatever it is they are trying to do. This week I was curious how each of you attack a baked spud. With my personal depressed economy I try to get every last bit of food from every meal. Like potatoes. I used to toss my peel. Nowadays I eat it all up and have discovered how tasty they are. And like most vegetables, the skin has all the healthy stuff in it.
Do you eat the skin with your baked potato? 35 said yes, only 9 said no.
I expected a larger split.
RULE #6
I always bring you a special Rule #6 when we explain how the mechanics of the show work. And Rule #6 changes each week. This week it was a bit of an eye-of-the-beholder rule. If it doesn't speak to you, don't worry. I suspect it didn't resonate as I expected.
Rule #6: Apply tradio only to the affected areas
See you next Saturday for another Erwin Pawn Tradio Show!
