DPS seize marijuana during traffic stop in Carson County

Another day, another seizure of marijuana on I-40.

On Sunday the DPS pulled over a 2014 Nissan Versa for a traffic violation near Conway in Carson County. A search of the vehicle revealed 22 packets of marijuana in the trunk. The marijuana has an estimated value of $111,000.

Jo Beth Bynum, 28 or Klamath Falls, Oregon was driving the vehicle and was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. She was booked into Carson County.

The troopers believe the drugs were being transported from Klamath Falls to Memphis, Tennessee.
