
Crash On I-27 Kills Two
Two people were killed when they were ejected from the vehicle they were traveling in Saturday morning on I-27.
According to the DPS the driver of a Cadillac SRX was speeding on I-27 when he tried to slow down to avoid slower traffic. The driver lost control of the vehicle and rolled over.
The driver, 26-year-old Richard Stone, of Canyon and his passenger, 23-year-old Ashley Margaret Meagher, or Amarillo were both ejected from the vehicle. The DPS says neither occupant was wearing a seat belt. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident occurred near Happy about 35 miles south of Amarillo.
