Another Celebration Before Back to School in Amarillo

I can not believe that we are just days away from the new school year. The kiddos in Amarillo go back on Tuesday. I don't even have any kids starting school and even I see how fast this summer went.

We had the Tax Free Weekend last week. Did you get all your clothes? Are you ready with all of your supplies. The way these past couple of years have gone I can not blame you if you are not ready. There has been a lot more thrown on us recently.

We need one more celebration to get us ready for Back to School. Coming up Saturday there will be a lot of fun for the family. You can take them out to El Alamo Park - 1621 S Houston from noon until six. This will be a lot of fun. This Back 2 School Bash has everything.

There will be food so come hungry. The kiddos will have bouncers to work off some of that energy. There will be music to lift those spirits. Amarillo Crime Stoppers will be there making Kids ID Cards.

If you are still behind on the school supplies and backpacks they will have you covered. Are you good at cornhole? If so there is even a tournament you can sign up for and compete. You can also check out all of the cool vehicles in the bike and car show.

There is a little bit of something for everyone. This is a first time event put on by Lil Longhorns. They are looking to make this an annual event. So if you are looking for a fun way to say goodbye to the carefree days of summer before school starts this next week; this may be just the fun your family needs.
