The Center City Electric Light Parade has become an Amarillo Holiday tradition for years. This year the Parade will be December 6th. This is a true Texas tradition that the whole family will enjoy, with over sixty lighted floats and holiday-themed fun.

Center City kicks off the holidays with a lighted parade starting at 11th Ave. & Polk St. at 6 p.m. on December 6. The parade proceeds down to Third Avenue and over to Centennial Plaza at the Amarillo Civic Center for the lighting of the city of Amarillo Christmas Tree, holiday-music, food vendors and free visits and photos with Santa Claus & Mrs. Claus as well.

This year's parade theme will be "March of the Toys".  Be sure to look for your favorite Townsquare Media Radio personalities and elves in the parade from MIX 94.1, 101.9 THE BULL, THUNDER 98.7, 96.9 KISS FM and NEWS TALK 940 KIXZ.
