Amarillo Set To Build New Fire Station

John Stiff park is not only the home of fireworks in Amarillo but it will also be the home of our newest and 13th fire station.

The new station will be at 6383 45th Street and will be a hub to serve the southwest area of the city and the Harrington Regional Medical Center.

The station will hold two engine companies and a District Chief.  Other equipment currently being stored downtown will now be moved to station 13.

Commissioners also approved two other small stations and renovations to the central fire station.
