Amarillo Police & FBI Investigating Monday Bank Robbery

Amarillo Police and the FBI are both investigating a bank robbery on Monday.

According the the APD a male suspect entered the Texas Plains Federal Credit Union at 9th and Madison at around 4:47pm yesterday.  The suspect approached the teller and demanded money.  The suspect did not reveal a weapon during the robbery but implied that he was armed.  The teller gave the suspect a stack of money.  The man then fled the building and left with another man in a white Ford F-150 pickup truck that was waiting outside.

The first suspect is described as a mixed race male with curly hair, 5'8" to 6'0" and wearing a blue and white jacket.  There is no description of the second suspect.
