Waco Bank Robber Gets 3 Years In Prison
WACO, Texas (AP) — A Central Texas woman has been sentenced to three years in prison for robbing three Waco banks including a holdup a day after police questioned her.
A federal judge in Waco on Wednesday sentenced 47-year-old Carol Denise Taylor. Taylor earlier pleaded guilty to bank robberies on June 26, July 8 and July 11.
The Waco woman must also pay nearly $7,000 in restitution and court fees.
Court documents indicate police questioned Taylor on July 10. Community Bank and Trust was robbed the next day by a woman wearing a wig and sunglasses.
Police arrested Taylor and a man following a brief vehicle and foot chase. Her co-defendant awaits trial.
