Amarillo Fire Department Investigating Sunday Structure Fire

The Amarillo Fire Department responded to a structure fire late Sunday evening.

Firefighters were requested at the 3400 block of Lynette Street.  On arrival the found a home engulfed in flames.  The fire was extinguished in a little over 30 minutes.  Four people were in the home, one sustained a minor burn to the hand.

The AFD is still investigating the cause of the fire.  Damage is estimated at $50,000.
