One of the coolest movie franchises put together in my mind is "A Night At The Museum".

The way the characters and everything came to life just made it something different and fun.

Well, what if I told you that something like this is actually going to happen, and it's going to be right here in our backyard?

The Panhandle Plains Historical Museum, or PPHM, is going to be having its very own "A Night At The Museum" kind of evening on June 10.

It all kicks off at 8 pm, after they close, to give it that real feel of something special is about to happen.

So how are they going to make all these characters and animals come alive? Well, actors and actresses of course.

There will be role players and storytellers that will essentially walk you through everything in the museum, and not in a typical way. They'll be acting out scenes of famous events, acting as characters related to the part of the exhibit you're visiting, etc.

The museum will be relatively dark to lend even more to the experience.

So what about anything to do with animals? I mean, I don't want to spoil ALL the secrets of what may be going on there. I'm just saying there could be some magic that happens, you never know right?

Ticket prices are $10 for adults and PPHM members and $5 for kids aged 4-12. Anyone under the age of 4 is getting in for free.

You'll find PPHM on the WT campus at 2503 4th Ave in Canyon. Come on out and enjoy a fun evening of learning and performances!

Is This The Legendary Cave Of Palo Duro Canyon?

I've heard rumors of caves in Palo Duro Canyon. Surely, this isn't all there is.
