It's Wet Nose Wednesday where we introduce you to a loving furry friend at the Amarillo SPCA that needs a home. This week, meet Weller! (Click play on the video above!) Thanks to our weekly sponsor Darndawg Custom T-Shirts.

If you are thinking to yourself, he looks familiar. Well, this isn't Weller's first time as our Wet Nose Wednesday pet of the week. He is still with the SPCA and needs to finally find a forever home that is a good fit. Weller is a 9 1/2 year old Labrador Retriever mix. DOB 2/14/10. Coat coloring is reddish tan. He has pretty brown eyes, loves attention and is a very friendly boy. Weller was adopted from the Amarillo SPCA shelter when he was just 4 months old, and then turned in, September 2019, to Amarillo Animal Management & Welfare to be euthanized. The Amarillo SPCA re-resuced Weller and brought him back to the shelter. Since then, has was fostered but did not get along with the foster's cats. So he is back and ready to try again to find a new home.

If you would like to adopt Weller, or any of the other wonderful animals looking for their fur-ever home, give the Amarillo SPCA a call at (806) 622-0555. Don't forget you must call ahead and make a visitation appointment as the SPCA is not open to walk-in traffic due to Covid-19 restrictions.
